Immunogen
Fusion protein corresponding to a region derived from internal residues of human ATP-binding cassette, sub-family E (OABP), member 1
General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-21676) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human ABCE1. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with ABCE1 from mouse. It has been affinity purified by protein A. The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the superfamily of ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporters. ABC proteins transport various molecules across extra- and intra-cellular membranes. ABC genes are divided into seven distinct subfamilies (ABC1, MDR/TAP, MRP, ALD, OABP, GCN20, White). This protein is a member of the OABP subfamily. Alternatively referred to as the RNase L inhibitor, this protein functions to block the activity of ribonuclease L. Activation of ribonuclease L leads to inhibition of protein synthesis in the 2-5A/RNase L system, the central pathway for viral interferon action. Two transcript variants encoding the same protein have been found for this gene.
DPABH-21676 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000) application.
DPABH-21676 is supplied as a liquid formulation in pH7.4 PBS, 0.05% sodium azide, 40% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
