This product (Catalog No. DPABH-28545) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human ABCB8. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with ABCB8 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. ATP-binding subunit of the mitochondrial potassium channel located in the mitochondrial inner membrane. Together with CCDC51/MITOK, forms a protein complex localized in the mitochondria that mediates ATP-dependent potassium currents across the inner membrane (that is, mitoK(ATP) channel). Plays a role in mitochondrial iron transport. Required for maintenance of normal cardiac function, possibly by influencing mitochondrial iron export and regulating the maturation of cytosolic iron sulfur cluster-containing enzymes (By similarity).
DPABH-28545 is suitable for use in WB 1 (1000-3000) application.
DPABH-28545 is supplied as a liquid formulation in Phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
