General Notes

This clone was raised against a branched RNA fragment corresponding in sequence to the branch region of the pre-mRNA intron derived from the YBL059W gene. It binds to an RNA fragment of a minimal 10 nt sequence N3U4G5C6A7N8A9G10G11N12.
This clone might be used to capture dynamic RNAs in distinct conformational states and allow structural analysis of nucleic acids. It was shown to inhibit Dbr1 debranching of the RNA target.
