General Notes
This antibody recognises Satumomab in Western blots and direct ELISA. Satumomab (Satumomab vedotin) is a chimeric IgG1 monoclonal antibody developed for the treatment of metastatic colorectal cancer. It targets the carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA), a protein commonly overexpressed in various cancers. The drug is designed to deliver a cytotoxic agent directly to CEA-expressing tumor cells, promoting cell death while reducing damage to healthy tissues.
