General Notes

The Magic™ Mouse Anti-Human FSH Monoclonal Antibody (clone A090-19145, product code DMAB1359) is a mouse monoclonal antibody specifically directed against human follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), also known as follitropin. FSH is a pituitary glycoprotein hormone composed of a common alpha subunit and an FSH-specific beta subunit. It supports ovarian follicular development and is also essential for Sertoli cell proliferation and the maintenance of sperm quality in the testis.
This antibody is suitable for ELISA. For sandwich ELISA, DMAB1359 is recommended as the capture antibody together with DMAB1358MH as the detection antibody. Each laboratory should determine the optimal working titer for its specific assay conditions. Other applications have not been tested but should not necessarily be excluded.
DMAB1359 is a mouse IgG monoclonal antibody purified by Protein A chromatography to greater than 90% purity as determined by SDS-PAGE and filtered through a 0.2 μm membrane. It is supplied as a purified liquid in PBS containing 0.1% sodium azide, with 1 mg of antibody per vial, and is shipped on wet ice. Store at 4°C for short-term use of 1–2 weeks, at −20°C for up to 12 months, or at −80°C for long-term storage. Use a manual-defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
