Q: We have a canned bovine meat: it contains Meat, Salt, Sugar and Sodium nitrite. Can this kit detect this product?
A: We have not worked on this type of sample directly with the monensin kit. But if the dilution factor of 300 is fine with your detection range requirement, I believe that the kit protocol should work for your sample type very likely.
