General Notes

Synthetic anti-human PSMD10 monoclonal scFv, clone F5 is a research antibody reagent targeting Gankyrin / PSMD10. PSMD10, also known as gankyrin, encodes a non-ATPase subunit of the PA700/19S regulatory complex of the 26S proteasome and participates in ubiquitin-dependent protein degradation and protein-protein interactions.
Reported research applications include Structural studies of gankyrin recognition, synthetic-antibody repertoire research, intracellular/intrabody applications. Direct gankyrin binding is established by the co-crystal. A later original study independently supports use of F5 as a fluorescent intrabody. A numerical Kd and cross-reactivity panel were not found in the reviewed material. F5 binds the ankyrin-repeat protein gankyrin through all six CDRs despite restricted sequence diversification in the synthetic repertoire. Numerical Kd, tested cross-reactivity panel and residue-level epitope were not found in the reviewed public sources. Later intrabody experiments are separate from the crystallographic experiment.
