Human Anti-Human Activin A monoclonal antibody, clone A1 [HRP] (Cat. No. CABT-L3312W) is a research antibody reagent targeting Activin A. Activin A is a disulfide-linked homodimer of two inhibin beta A subunits in the TGF-beta superfamily. It binds activin receptors and regulates SMAD-dependent signaling involved in diverse developmental and physiological processes. This antibody is suitable for Neutralization, ELISA. Clone A1 binds recombinant mature human Activin A and inhibits Activin A-mediated signaling in a cell-based reporter assay. Optimal working concentrations should be determined experimentally. Cell-based neutralization IC50 <3 nM against 4 nM recombinant mature Activin A. The clone does not bind Activin B, GDF-8, GDF-11, TGF-β1, TGF-β3, or BMP4 in the evaluated binding assay.
