Sample
Leaf, Seed, Bulk Grain
Species Reactivity
Plant (transgenic crops)
Intended Use
This kit is designed for the qualitative and quantitative determination of CP4 EPSPS protein in leaf, seed and bulk grain samples by double-antibody sandwich ELISA method. CP4 EPSPS is a glyphosate-resistant protein commonly used in crop breeding. Crops with this transgene can significantly increase nitrogen metabolism, thereby counteracting the effect of glyphosate herbicide on crops and selectively killing weeds.

Performance Characteristics
1. Sensitivity: 1 ppb (CP4 EPSPS). Due to sample diversity and its effect on the blank, if the detection result is below the limit of quantification, it can be considered negative.
2. Precision:
Intra-assay precision: < 10%
Inter-assay precision: < 15%
3. Recovery: 80 - 120%
4. Incubation Time: 75 min total (30 min + 30 min + 15 min)
Precision
Intra-assay precision: < 10%
Inter-assay precision: < 15%
Detection Range
0 - 16 ppb (standard range)
Detection Limit
1 ppb (CP4 EPSPS)
Sensitivity
1 ppb (CP4 EPSPS). Due to sample diversity and its effect on the blank, if the detection result is below the limit of quantification, it can be considered negative.
General Description
CP4 EPSPS is a glyphosate-resistant protein commonly used in crop breeding. Crops that have been genetically modified with this gene show significantly increased nitrogen metabolism, which counteracts the effect of glyphosate herbicide on the crops and allows selective killing of weeds. This ELISA kit uses the double-antibody sandwich method to qualitatively and quantitatively detect CP4 EPSPS content in samples with the characteristics of being rapid, simple, sensitive and high-throughput, which can greatly reduce errors and workload. This CP4 EPSPS ELISA Kit is a highly sensitive detection system capable of quantitatively detecting CP4 EPSPS in leaf, seed and bulk grain samples.
Standard Curve
Standard concentrations: 0, 1, 2, 4, 8, 16 ppb. Plot standard concentration (ppb) on x-axis versus absorbance at 450 nm on y-axis. Use four-parameter logistic (4-PL) method for data fitting.
Reconstitution And Storage
Store all reagents at 2 - 8 °C until the expiration date printed on the kit box and component labels.
After dissolution, the standard (16 ppb) can be stored at 4°C for 1 month.
Diluted sample extraction buffer and wash working solution can be stored at 4°C for 1 week.
