The hybridoma cell line secretes a mouse monoclonal antibody (IgG1) reactive with the lining epithelium of human normal proximal and distal convoluted tubules, renal cell carcinoma and the basal layer of fetal or neonatal epidermis. This antibody is useful for identifying kidney differentiation antigens and has been shown effective in radioimaging as well as tumor growth inhibition in xenograft models.
