Cell Line Description
Described as secreting a mouse monoclonal antibody (igg2akappa) cdw78; the cell line was established in 1988 by fusion of PX63AG8.653 cells with spleen cells of a mouse immunized with human peripheral blood lymphocytes from a patient with high numbers of gamma-delta T cells confirmed as mouse by Species-PCR. . Subculturing
Split ratio: 1: 2 to 1:4, every 1-3 days; seed out at 0.25 x 10^6 cells/ml; Maintain at 0.1-0.8 x 10^6 cells/ml; Doubling time: about 24 hours; Harvest: maximal density of about 0.8 x 10^6 cells/ml. Cells may grow slowly after initial recovery from N2 .
