Animals were immunized with purified alpha v, beta 3 integrin. Spleen cells were fused with P3X63Ag8U.1 myeloma cells. The antibody is specific for alpha v, beta 3 integrin. It recognizes an epitope on alpha v, beta 3 integrin that is specific to human osteoclasts.
