This product (Catalog No. CABT-L1268W) is a human-derived monoclonal antibody raised against cockroach Per a 7. Per a 7 is a major allergen derived from the American cockroach (Periplaneta americana). It is the cockroach tropomyosin, a highly conserved actin-binding protein involved in cytoskeletal structure and muscle contraction. Due to its strong sequence homology with tropomyosins from other invertebrates, Per a 7 is considered a cross-reactive pan-allergen and is frequently associated with IgE cross-reactivity between cockroaches, house dust mites, shrimp, crab, and other shellfish. Sensitization to Per a 7 is clinically relevant in patients with persistent asthma and allergic rhinitis, particularly in urban environments with high cockroach exposure. It is often included in component-resolved diagnostics to assess cross-reactive invertebrate allergen sensitization profiles. CABT-L1268W is suitable for use in ELISA application. CABT-L1268W is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
