This product (Catalog No. CABT-CS26003) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against norovirus Norovirus NS6. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Norovirus NS6 is a nonstructural protein that functions as the viral protease in Norovirus. It is responsible for cleaving the viral polyprotein into individual functional nonstructural proteins (NS1–NS7), which are essential for viral replication. NS6 is a cysteine protease, and its enzymatic activity is highly specific for viral cleavage sites, making it a critical target for antiviral drug development. By processing the polyprotein, NS6 indirectly facilitates the formation of the viral replication complex and proper assembly of the virus.
CABT-CS26003 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:3,000–1:15,000), IF (immunofluorescence) (1:500–1:1,000), ELISA (1:5,000–1:10,000) applications.
CABT-CS26003 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 100mM Tris Glycine, 30% Glycerol (pH7). 0.025% ProClin 300 was added as a preservative. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
