Introduction
Nateglinide is a fast-acting antidiabetic drug belonging to the meglitinide class. It stimulates insulin secretion by closing ATP-dependent potassium channels in pancreatic 尾-cells. The compound primarily reduces postprandial blood glucose levels. Nateglinide is widely studied in glucose metabolism and diabetes pharmacology research.
