Product Overview
A DNA sequence encoding the N-terminal segment of Influenza B virus (B/Florida/4/2006) (Met 1-Arg 361) hemagglutinin (ACA33493.1), termed as HA1 subunit, was fused with a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.
Molecular Weight
The recombinant HA1 subunit of Influenza B virus (B/Florida/4/2006) hemagglutinin comprises 357 amino acids with the predicted molecular mass of 39 kDa. As a result of glycosylation, it migrates as an approximately 50-60 kDa band in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.
Endotoxin
< 1.0 EU per μg of the protein as determined by the LAL method
Purity
> 97 % as determined by SDS-PAGE
Format
Lyophilized from sterile PBS, pH 7.41. Normally 5 % - 8 % trehalose, mannitol and 0.01% Tween80 are added as protectants before lyophilization.
Storage
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -70°CStore it under sterile conditions at -20°C to -80°C. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
