Specific-pathogen-free chickens with very virulent infectious bursal disease virus (vvIBDV) strain CS89. Lymphocyte cDNA derived from these chickens was used to construct an scFv antibody expression library, which was screened by panning against captured CS89 virus, the immunising antigen.
