This product (Catalog No. DMAB-CPT727) is a rabbit-derived monoclonal antibody raised against human SOX8. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. SOX8 is a protein-coding gene on human chromosome 16p13.3 that encodes SRY-box transcription factor 8, a member of the SOX (SRY-related HMG-box) family of DNA-binding proteins essential for embryonic development and cell fate determination. The encoded 446-amino-acid protein features a conserved 79-amino-acid HMG domain for DNA binding and functions primarily as a transcriptional regulator, often acting as an activator in complex with other proteins. It is highly expressed in the brain (RPKM 44.7), with lower levels in salivary gland, heart, skeletal muscle, and pancreas, and shows biased expression during fetal development across tissues like adrenal, intestine, and kidney.
DMAB-CPT727 is suitable for use in Cytometric Bead Array (0.625-20 ng/mL) application.
DMAB-CPT727 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS only. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
