General Notes
This product (Catalog No. CABT-L1281W) is a mouse-derived monoclonal antibody raised against human Sox17. SOX17 is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 8q11.23 that encodes a member of the SOX (SRY-related HMG-box) family of transcription factors, characterized by a high-mobility group (HMG) DNA-binding domain essential for regulating embryonic development and cell fate decisions. The encoded SOX17 protein, consisting of 414 amino acids, functions as a transcriptional regulator by forming complexes with other proteins, such as β-catenin, to activate or repress target genes involved in endoderm specification and vascular differentiation. Expressed broadly in adult tissues like the endometrium and fat, as well as in embryonic structures, SOX17 plays pivotal roles in early embryogenesis across vertebrates, including primitive endoderm formation and arterial endothelial identity.
CABT-L1281W is suitable for use in ELISA(Cap), lateral flow immunoassay (LFIA), CLIA applications.
CABT-L1281W is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
