General Notes

This product (Catalog No. DMAB-CPT848) is a rabbit-derived monoclonal antibody raised against human PROCA1. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. PROCA1 (protein interacting with cyclin A1) is a relatively uncharacterized human protein that was initially identified through its interaction with cyclin A1, a cell cycle–regulatory cyclin predominantly expressed in germ cells and certain hematopoietic lineages. PROCA1 is thought to be involved in cell cycle regulation and proliferation, potentially modulating cyclin A1–dependent signaling pathways. Expression of PROCA1 has been reported in testis and in some cancer types, suggesting a possible role in germ cell development and tumorigenesis. Although its precise molecular function remains unclear, PROCA1 is of interest as a candidate regulatory protein linking cyclin activity to cell cycle control.
DMAB-CPT848 is suitable for use in Cytometric Bead Array (1.25-40 ng/mL) application.
DMAB-CPT848 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS only. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
