General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DMAB-CPT1165) is a rabbit-derived monoclonal antibody raised against human PDZD7. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. PDZD7, also known as PDZK7, is essential in organizing the USH2 complex at stereocilia ankle links and blocks inhibition of adenylate cyclase activity mediated by ADGRV1. PDZD7 encodes a PDZ domain-containing scaffold protein that is highly expressed in hair cells of the inner ear. PDZD7 is also expressed in the cilia of photoreceptors (PMID: 33530996). Dysfunction or mutations of PDZD7 result in Usher syndrome type 2 (USH2) and Autosomal recessive non-syndromic hearing loss(ARNSHL). DMAB-CPT1165 is suitable for use in Cytometric Bead Array (0.313-40 ng/mL) application. DMAB-CPT1165 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS only. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
