General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DMAB-CPT1206) is a rabbit-derived monoclonal antibody raised against human MUC17. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. MUC17 is a membrane-bound mucin that provides protection to gut epithelial cells. MUC17 contains about 60 tandem repeats, with each repeat being around 60 aa.Membrane mucins, such as MUC17, function in epithelial cells to provide cytoprotection, maintain luminal structure, provide signal transduction, and confer antiadhesive properties upon cancer cells that lose their apical/basal polarization. DMAB-CPT1206 is suitable for use in Cytometric Bead Array (0.156-20 ng/mL) application. DMAB-CPT1206 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS only. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
