The Magic™ Rabbit Anti-Human LAMA2 Monoclonal Antibody (clone 341652E6, product code DMAB-CPT438) is a rabbit monoclonal antibody specifically directed against human LAMA2 (Laminin Subunit Alpha 2), also known as laminin alpha-2 chain, merosin heavy chain, or LAMM. LAMA2 is a key structural component of basement membranes, forming part of laminin heterotrimers such as laminin-211 and laminin-221, and is essential for maintaining muscle integrity, basement membrane stability, and normal neuromuscular function. This antibody is designed for the specific detection of human LAMA2 and is supplied in an unconjugated format suitable for immunoassay development.
This product is validated for use in Cytometric Bead Array (CBA, detection format) as part of a matched antibody pair system. The recommended pairing is DMAB-CPT437 (capture) with DMAB-CPT438 (detection), enabling sensitive sandwich immunoassay detection with a working range of 0.625–20 ng/mL. It is suitable for quantitative detection of LAMA2 in biological samples and optimized for high-performance sandwich immunoassay workflows requiring strong specificity and sensitivity.
DMAB-CPT438 is a rabbit IgG monoclonal antibody purified using Protein A affinity chromatography and supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS only. Each vial contains 100 μg of purified antibody. The product is stored at −80°C for long-term preservation.
