General Notes

This product (Catalog No. DMAB-CPT810) is a rabbit-derived monoclonal antibody raised against human IL11RA. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Interleukin-11 (IL-11), a member of the IL-6 family of cytokines, was firstly identified in bone marrow-derived stromal cells (PMID: 2145578). IL-11 is a multifunctional cytokine that plays important roles in hematopoiesis, bone development, tissue repair, and tumor development (PMID: 33863879). IL-10 signals through a receptor complex consisting of IL-11 receptor alpha subunit (IL-11RA) and gp130. IL-11RA binds IL-11 and gp130 transmits signals to the nucleus via Janus kinase (JAK) activation. In addition to a membrane-bound form, IL-11RA can also exist as a soluble form (sIL-11RA) that acts as an agonist of IL-11 activity.
DMAB-CPT810 is suitable for use in Cytometric Bead Array (0.625-20 ng/mL) application.
DMAB-CPT810 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS only. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
