General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DMAB-CPT758) is a rabbit-derived monoclonal antibody raised against human HBA1. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. The hemoglobin molecule is a tetramer consisting of two alpha- and two beta-globin-like chains. HBA1 (hemoglobin alpha chain) protein is a alpha-type chain of hemoglobin encoded by two independent genes (HBA1 and HBA2) whose coding sequences are identical. Two alpha chains coupled with two beta chains constitute the adult hemoglobin (HbA or α2β2). HBA1 is also the component of fetal hemoglobin (HbF or α2γ2). DMAB-CPT758 is suitable for use in Sandwich ELISA (0.156-10 ng/mL) application. DMAB-CPT758 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS only. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
