This product (Catalog No. CABT-L1609W) is a rabbit-derived monoclonal antibody. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Folliculin-interacting protein 1 (FNIP1) forms a complex with the protein folliculin (FLCN), together acting as guanosine triphosphate (GTP)-activating protein (GAP) for RagC. The FNIP1-FLCN complex has emerged as an amino acid sensor to the mechanistic target of rapamycin complex 1 (mTORC1), involved in how amino acids control TFEB activation. AMPK phosphorylation of FNIP1 induces lysosomal and mitochondrial biogenesis. CABT-L1609W is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:2,000–1:10,000) application. CABT-L1609W is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
