General Notes

This product (Catalog No. CABT-L1293W) is a mouse-derived monoclonal antibody raised against human Cystatin SN. Cystatin SN is a member of the cystatin superfamily of cysteine protease inhibitors and is encoded by the CST1 gene. It is a secreted protein primarily expressed in epithelial tissues, including respiratory and gastrointestinal mucosa, where it functions to inhibit cysteine proteases such as cathepsins and regulate proteolytic activity in the extracellular environment. Cystatin SN is involved in maintaining tissue homeostasis and modulating inflammatory responses. Clinically, elevated levels of Cystatin SN have been associated with airway inflammatory diseases and certain epithelial-derived malignancies, making it a potential biomarker candidate in disease research and diagnostic applications.
CABT-L1293W is suitable for use in ELISA(Cap), lateral flow immunoassay (LFIA), CLIA applications.
CABT-L1293W is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
