This product (Catalog No. DMAB-CPT824) is a rabbit-derived monoclonal antibody raised against human CLPX. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human CLPX from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. ClpX is an ATP-dependent chaperone, unfoldase, and polypeptide translocase belonging to the AAA+ (ATPases Associated with diverse cellular Activities) superfamily, primarily found in eubacteria and eukaryotic mitochondria, where it powers the targeted degradation of misfolded, damaged, or regulatory proteins as part of the ClpXP proteolytic complex. This homohexameric ring-shaped enzyme uses ATP hydrolysis to recognize specific substrate degrons, mechanically unfold stable protein domains, and translocate polypeptides into the self-compartmentalized ClpP peptidase for breakdown into short peptides, ensuring protein quality control and cellular homeostasis.
DMAB-CPT824 is suitable for use in Sandwich ELISA (0.78-50 ng/mL) application.
DMAB-CPT824 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS only. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
