Introduction
Gamithromycin is a new type of semi-synthetic macrolide antibiotics for veterinary use. It is one of the representative drugs of the second generation of macrolide antibiotics. It inhibits bacterial RNA affects protein synthesis and exerts antibacterial and Sterilizing effect. Gamithromycin has high antibacterial activity against Mannella hemolyticus, Pasteurella multocida and Mycoplasma bovis, which cause bovine respiratory diseases.
