This product (Catalog No. CABT-L1275W) is a human-derived monoclonal antibody raised against gallus domesticus Gal d 1/Gal d 3. Gal d 1 and Gal d 3 are two major allergenic components derived from chicken egg (Gallus gallus domesticus). Gal d 1 is ovalbumin, the most abundant protein in egg white, belonging to the serpin-like protein family and is relatively heat-labile but highly immunogenic, making it a primary sensitizing allergen in egg allergy. Gal d 3 is ovomucoid, a glycoprotein that functions as a trypsin inhibitor and is characterized by strong heat stability and resistance to enzymatic digestion, which contributes to its association with persistent egg allergy and severe allergic reactions. In component-resolved diagnostics, sensitization to Gal d 1 is often associated with milder or transient egg allergy, whereas IgE reactivity to Gal d 3 is considered a marker of more persistent clinical egg allergy. CABT-L1275W is suitable for use in ELISA application. CABT-L1275W is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
