This product (Catalog No. CABT-L1271W) is a human-derived monoclonal antibody raised against cat Fel d 7/Can f 1. Can f 1 and Fel d 7 are mammalian inhalant allergens belonging to the lipocalin protein family. Can f 1 is a major dog allergen derived from Canis lupus familiaris, primarily produced in the tongue epithelium and salivary glands and distributed into the environment through saliva and dander. Fel d 7 is a homologous lipocalin allergen from Felis catus, present in cat saliva and dander. Both proteins are small, secreted extracellular molecules capable of inducing IgE-mediated sensitization, leading to allergic rhinitis and asthma. Due to their structural similarity and sequence homology within the lipocalin family, Can f 1 and Fel d 7 may exhibit IgE cross-reactivity in some individuals, which is clinically relevant in component-resolved diagnostics for distinguishing true species-specific sensitization from cross-reactive mammalian lipocalin responses. CABT-L1271W is suitable for use in ELISA application. CABT-L1271W is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
