We recommend the following antibody pair to develop a pharmacokinetic (PK) bridging assay to measure free drug: CABT-ZB203 - CABT-ZB204 CABT-ZB203 is recommended for use as a capture antibody when paired with CABT-ZB204 as a detection antibody. Eculizumab with trade name Soliris, is an FDA-approved drug to treat paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria (PNH), atypical hemolytic uremic syndrome (aHUS), and neuromyelitis optica. Eculizumab is a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody against the complement protein C5. Eculizumab specifically binds to the terminal complement component 5, or C5. Binding to this protein prevents the activation of a complement terminal complex, which is used to treat a number of autoimmune conditions.
