Suitable for use in ELISA. Each laboratory should determine an optimum working titer for use in its particular application. Other applications have not been tested but use in such assays should not necessarily be excluded.
General Notes
This product (Catalog No. CABT-L1570W) is a human-derived monoclonal antibody raised against Domoic Acid. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Domoic Acid from species independent. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Domoic acid is a kainic acid-type neurotoxin that causes amnesic shellfish poisoning. It is produced by algae and accumulates in shellfish, sardines, and anchovies. When sea lions, otters, cetaceans, humans, and other predators eat contaminated animals, poisoning may result. CABT-L1570W is suitable for use in ELISA application. CABT-L1570W is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
