General Description
Butralin, also known as bud arresting agent, is a contact-killing and local endo-absorption bud arresting agent. It is a low-toxic dinitrophenylamine-type tobacco bud arresting agent with high growth inhibitory effect on axillary buds and fast efficacy. The efficacy can be achieved without raining within 2 hours after application. Its effect is similar to that of trifluralin. After the fungicide enters the plant, it mainly inhibits the cell division of meristem, thereby inhibiting the growth of young buds and roots of weeds. It can also be used as plant growth regulator to control the growth of tobacco axillary buds.
