This product (Catalog No. CABT-L1315W) is a human-derived monoclonal antibody raised against arachis hypogaea Ara h 2/ Ara h 6. Ara h 2 and Ara h 6 are two major peanut allergens derived from Arachis hypogaea and both belong to the 2S albumin seed storage protein family. These proteins are characterized by strong heat stability and resistance to gastrointestinal proteolysis, which contributes to their high allergenic potency and association with systemic allergic reactions. Ara h 2 is considered one of the most clinically significant peanut allergens and is a major predictor of severe peanut allergy, while Ara h 6 shares substantial sequence and structural homology with Ara h 2 and often exhibits IgE cross-reactivity. Sensitization to either Ara h 2 or Ara h 6 is strongly associated with true peanut allergy rather than asymptomatic sensitization, making them important markers in component-resolved allergy diagnostics. CABT-L1315W is suitable for use in ELISA application. CABT-L1315W is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
