This antibody is specific for Adalimumab. No cross reactivity with other humanized antibodies. It can be used in bridging ELISA for Anti-Drug Antibody (ADA) assay development. Adalimumab (Humira) is a fully human IgG1 monoclonal antibody created using recombinant DNA technology. It is approved for treating various autoimmune diseases, including rheumatoid arthritis, Crohn's disease, and psoriasis. The drug works by specifically binding to tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α), inhibiting its action and reducing inflammation.
