General Notes
This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL6043) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human ZNF391, targeting the amino acid region 1–128 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human ZNF391 from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. ZNF391 (Zinc Finger Protein 391) is a member of the C2H2-type zinc finger transcription factor family that is predicted to function primarily in DNA binding and transcriptional regulation. It is localized in the nucleus and is thought to act mainly as a transcriptional repressor through interaction with chromatin-modifying complexes such as KAP1/TRIM28 and histone deacetylases, leading to epigenetic silencing of target genes. Like many KRAB-associated zinc finger proteins, ZNF391 is implicated in regulating developmental gene expression programs, cellular differentiation, and maintenance of genomic stability. Emerging studies have suggested potential involvement of ZNF391 in neuropsychiatric traits and brain-related gene regulatory networks, although its precise target genes and mechanisms remain incompletely defined. Overall, ZNF391 is considered an epigenetic transcriptional regulator with possible roles in neural and developmental biology, but further experimental validation is required to clarify its functions.
CABT-BL6043 is suitable for use in IP (0.5-4.0 μg for 1.0-3.0 mg of total protein lysate) application.
CABT-BL6043 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
