General Notes
This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL6024) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human ZMYND12, targeting the amino acid region 1–365 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human ZMYND12 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. ZMYND12 (Zinc Finger MYND-Type Containing 12) is a protein-coding gene that encodes a nuclear protein containing a MYND-type zinc finger domain, which is typically involved in mediating protein–protein interactions and transcriptional regulation. Although its precise molecular function is not well defined, ZMYND12 is thought to act as a transcriptional regulator or chromatin-associated factor that influences gene expression programs. Proteins in the ZMYND family are often implicated in epigenetic regulation, including histone modification recognition and transcriptional repression or activation depending on context. ZMYND12 is broadly expressed at low to moderate levels across tissues, but may have context-specific roles in development or cellular differentiation. Overall, it remains a relatively uncharacterized nuclear regulatory protein, with its biological functions largely inferred from domain architecture and homology to other MYND-containing proteins.
CABT-BL6024 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:1,000), IHC (1:50–1:500) applications.
CABT-BL6024 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
