This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL5969) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human VPS52. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with VPS52 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. This gene encodes a protein that is similar to the yeast suppressor of actin mutations 2 gene. The yeast protein forms a subunit of the tetrameric Golgi-associated retrograde protein complex that is involved in vesicle trafficking from from both early and late endosomes, back to the trans-Golgi network. This gene is located on chromosome 6 in a head-to-head orientation with the gene encoding ribosomal protein S18. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. CABT-BL5969 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000) application. CABT-BL5969 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
