General Notes

This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL5949) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human UNC119B, targeting the amino acid region 1–33 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. UNC119b is a myristoyl-binding protein that acts as a cargo adapter: specifically binds the myristoyl moiety of a subset of N-terminally myristoylated proteins and is required for their localization. The myristoyl-binding activity of UNC119b is required to localize NPHP3 to the primary cilium (PMID: 22085962). Mouse Unc119b shares 90% sequence identity with human UNC119b protein.
CABT-BL5949 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000) application.
CABT-BL5949 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
