General Notes
This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL5911) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human TTC17, targeting the amino acid region 793–1141 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. TTC17 (Tetratricopeptide Repeat Domain 17) encodes a protein containing multiple tetratricopeptide repeat (TPR) motifs, which are structural domains that mediate protein–protein interactions and the assembly of multiprotein complexes. Proteins with TPR domains commonly function as scaffolding or adaptor molecules involved in processes such as protein folding, intracellular trafficking, and signaling regulation. TTC17 is predicted to localize within the cytoplasm or associate with organelle membranes, where it may contribute to the organization of functional protein complexes. Although its precise molecular role is not fully defined, it is thought to participate in fundamental cellular pathways related to protein homeostasis or transport. Expression analyses suggest that TTC17 is broadly expressed across tissues, indicating a general cellular function rather than tissue-specific activity. However, detailed biochemical mechanisms and interaction partners remain largely uncharacterized, and current knowledge is mainly based on domain architecture and computational predictions.
CABT-BL5911 is suitable for use in IHC (1:50–1:500) application.
CABT-BL5911 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
