This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL3691) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human TSPAN9, targeting the amino acid region 131–239 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with TSPAN9 from mouse, rat, dog, pig, and rabbit. It has been affinity purified by protein A. The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the transmembrane 4 superfamily, also known as the tetraspanin family. Most of these members are cell-surface proteins that are characterized by the presence of four hydrophobic domains. The proteins mediate signal transduction events that play a role in the regulation of cell development, activation, growth and motility. Alternatively spliced transcripts encoding the same protein have been identified.
CABT-BL3691 is suitable for use in ELISA (1:5,000–1:10,000) application.
CABT-BL3691 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
