General Notes
This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL5906) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human TSPAN10, targeting the amino acid region 181–355 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. TSPAN10 is a membrane protein of the tetraspanin superfamily, which are characterized by the presence of four conserved transmembrane regions. Tetraspanins have been involved in diverse processes such as cell activation and proliferation, adhesion and motility, differentiation, and cancer. TSPAN10 belongs to the TSPANC8 subfamily, which also include TSPAN5, TSPAN14, TSPAN15, TSPAN17, and TSPAN33. It has been reported that TSPANC8 tetraspanins interact with ADAM10 and have a conserved function in the regulation of ADAM10 trafficking and activity, thereby positively regulating Notch receptor activation (PMID: 23091066; 23035126).
CABT-BL5906 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,400), IF/ICC (1:20–1:200) applications.
CABT-BL5906 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
