General Notes
This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL3425) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human SPECC1L, targeting the amino acid region 161–260 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with SPECC1L from mouse, rat, chicken, dog, pig, cow, horse, rabbit, and sheep. It has been affinity purified by protein A. This gene encodes a coiled-coil domain containing protein. The encoded protein may play a critical role in actin-cytoskeletal reorganization during facial morphogenesis. Mutations in this gene are a cause of oblique facial clefting-1. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding multiple isoforms have been observed for this gene. A read-through transcript composed of SPECC1L (sperm antigen with calponin homology and coiled-coil domains 1-like) and the downstream ADORA2A (adenosine A2a receptor) gene sequence has been identified, but it is thought to be non-coding.
CABT-BL3425 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000) application.
CABT-BL3425 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
