This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL3314) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human SLC25A32, targeting the amino acid region 1–315 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Solute carrier family 25 member 32 (SLC25A32) can transfer tetrahydrofolate (THF) from cellular cytoplasm to the mitochondria as a mitochondrial folate transporter (MFT). It has been reported that SLC25A32 can also transport FAD across the mitochondrial inner membrane. Chronic alcohol exposure affects mitochondrial folate uptake and may affect the transcription of the SLC25A32. And functional SLC25A32 defect is associated with the cranial neural tube defects(PMID: 21956163; 29666258). CABT-BL3314 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IHC (1:200–1:800) applications. CABT-BL3314 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
