This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL3270) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human SEC14L3, targeting the amino acid region 201–300 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with SEC14L3 from rat and mouse. It has been affinity purified by protein A. The protein encoded by this gene is highly similar to the protein encoded by the Saccharomyces cerevisiae SEC14 gene. The SEC14 protein is a phophatidylinositol transfer protein that is essential for biogenesis of Golgi-derived transport vesicles, and thus is required for the export of yeast secretory proteins from the Golgi complex. The specific function of this protein has not yet been determined. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding multiple isoforms have been observed for this gene. CABT-BL3270 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IHC-P (1:100–1:500), IHC-F (1:100–1:500), IF (immunofluorescence) (1:100–1:500) applications. CABT-BL3270 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.02% Proclin300, 1% BSA, 0.01M PBS, pH7.4. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
