Ronidazole is an antiprotozoal agent used in veterinary medicine for the treatment of histomoniasis and swine dysentery. It may also have use for the treatment of Tritrichomonas foetus infection in cats.
Antigen Description
Ronidazol, dimetridazole, metronidazole, and ipronidazole are all nitroimidazole drugs that have been extensively used as growth promoters and therapeutic anti-bacterial and antiprotozoal agents in food-producing animals.
