This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL5534) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human RIC3. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with RIC3 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. This gene encodes a member of the resistance to inhibitors of cholinesterase 3-like family which functions as a chaperone of specific 5-hydroxytryptamine type 3 receptor and nicotinic acetylcholine receptor subtypes. The encoded protein influences the folding and assembly of these receptor subunits in the endoplasmic reticulum and expression on the cell surface. This protein contains an N-terminal transmembrane domain, a proline-rich spacer, and a cytosolic C-terminal coiled-coil domain. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. CABT-BL5534 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:200–1:1,000), IHC (1:50–1:300) applications. CABT-BL5534 is supplied as a liquid formulation in pH7.4 PBS, 0.05% sodium azide, 40% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
