This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL5516) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human RBM6, targeting the amino acid region 1031–1123 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with RBM6 from mouse, rat, chicken, dog, pig, cow, horse, rabbit, and sheep. It has been affinity purified by protein A. RBM6 (RNA Binding Motif Protein 6) is a nuclear RNA-binding protein and known alternative splicing factor, often acting as a tumor suppressor in cancers such as lung, breast, and liver. It regulates gene expression, mRNA stability, and homologous recombination repair of DNA double-strand breaks. RBM6 is often lost in advanced tumors and is mapped to the commonly deleted 3p21.3 region.
CABT-BL5516 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000) application.
CABT-BL5516 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
