General Notes
This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL3100) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human RASAL3, targeting the amino acid region 721–820 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with RASAL3 from mouse, rat, dog, cow, and sheep. It has been affinity purified by protein A. This gene belongs to the Ras GTPase-activating proteins (RasGAP) family and encodes a protein with pleckstrin homology (PH), C2, and Ras GTPase-activation protein (RasGAP) domains. This protein is localized near or at the plasma membrane when expressed exogenously. Reduced expression of this gene in some cell lines resulted in increased levels of the active form of Ras (Ras-GTP), suggesting that this gene may play a role in negatively regulating the Ras signaling pathway. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
CABT-BL3100 is suitable for use in IHC-P (1:100–1:500), IHC-F (1:100–1:500), IF (immunofluorescence) (1:100–1:500), ICC/IF (1:100–1:500), ELISA (1:5,000–1:10,000) applications.
CABT-BL3100 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.02% Proclin300, 1% BSA, 0.01M PBS, pH7.4. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
